1. About this website
The Physics Beyond is a science and physics communication platform covering topics including everyday physics, quantum physics, relativity, cosmology, space, experiments and thought experiments.
This Privacy Policy applies to information associated with your use of The Physics Beyond website.
2. Information we collect
The current version of this website is primarily a static informational website. We do not intentionally request or collect personal information simply because you visit and read the site's pages.
The website does not currently provide a user-registration system or account system.
When online ordering is enabled for a product, checkout will request the buyer's email address and, for a physical order, recipient and delivery address details. The Physics Beyond's commerce service will use these details to create and support the order, confirm its payment status, and arrange delivery. Order amount, product, checkout method, provider references and payment status are stored with the order. Card and bank payment credentials are entered with Razorpay and are not collected by this website. Do not submit order details until the product's checkout is visibly available.
3. Contact information
If you choose to contact The Physics Beyond through the email address provided on the Contact page, the information you include in your email may be received and used to respond to your enquiry.
Email communications are handled through the relevant email service provider. Information contained in those communications may therefore be subject to that provider's own privacy practices and policies.
4. External links
The website may contain links to external websites and platforms, including YouTube and other third-party resources.
Once you leave The Physics Beyond and visit an external service, that service's own privacy policy and terms may apply. We recommend reviewing the privacy practices of external platforms before providing them with personal information.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently display Google AdSense advertisements. It uses AdSense code to verify the site for Google's review. The code may connect a visitor's browser to Google. The site does not intentionally use first-party cookies for user accounts, personalization or advertising.
We plan to apply to use Google AdSense. If the site is approved and advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Depending on user and account settings, these technologies may also be used to personalize advertising. Google's explanation of how it uses information on partner sites is available at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Users can manage Google's personalized advertising settings at Google Ads Settings. Before any ads are served, this policy and any applicable consent settings will be reviewed to match the advertising features enabled on the site.
6. Third-party services
Some pages may link to or eventually incorporate services operated by third parties. Those services operate independently from The Physics Beyond and may collect information according to their own policies.
Online checkout, when enabled, uses Razorpay to collect payment and confirm payment status. The customer is subject to Razorpay's privacy terms while using its checkout. The website receives payment and order references needed for order handling; it does not receive card numbers or security codes. The commerce service is hosted by a separate infrastructure provider, which may process order information to operate the service.
7. Children's privacy
The Physics Beyond is intended as a general science and educational resource. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through this website.
8. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website's features, services or data practices change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
